Sauerkraut Pie (One Dish Meal)(Year 1917) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. sauerkraut
    3 or 4 pork hocks
    4 or 5 potatoes
    2 eggs
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook pork until real tender.
    Put a layer of sauerkraut and then meat until dish is filled.
    Then grate potatoes over top. Then add eggs, salt and pepper.
    Bake one hour or until potatoes are done.
