Banana Pecan Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

c. softened butter or margarine
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 cups mashed bananas
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 tsp. all purpose flour
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. toasted and chopped pecans
Preparation

In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in bananas and vanilla. Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Stir in pecans and pour mixture in three greased and floured 9 inch round cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
