Tomato-Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. thinly sliced cucumber
    3/4 c. sliced green pepper
    1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1/3 c. thinly sliced green onion
    2 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
    2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1/4 tsp. dried oregano
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    leaf lettuce
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt over cucumber; toss gently and let stand 30 minutes.
    Drain cucumber and press dry between paper towels. Combine cucumber, green pepper and next 3 ingredients in a bowl; set aside.
