Stewed Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. tomatoes (ripe)
    1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. soft bread, cubed
Preparation
    Prepare tomatoes, cutting out stems.
    Pan-boil approximately 1 minute to loosen skins.
    Peel and cut into small pieces.
