Special Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. small peas
    1 c. grated carrots
    1/2 c. finely cut onions
    1 c. finely cut celery
    1 c. bacon, fried crisp
    2 c. crisp lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
    parsley
    mayonnaise or salad dressing
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Layer alternately first lettuce, peas, carrots, onions, celery and bacon.
    Dot with mayonnaise.
    Continue to layer until all vegetables are used.
    Let stand few hours to marinate.
    Sprinkle with parsley.
