Carrots Au Gratin - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sliced carrots
1 large onion, sliced
4 Tbsp. oleo
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. buttered crumbs
Preparation

Cook carrots and onion in salted water for 10 minutes.
Drain, reserve liquid.
Melt butter, blend in flour and gradually add reserved liquid.
Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Add cheese and stir until melted.
Place vegetables in buttered dish.
Add sauce and top with crumbs.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
