Harvard Beet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. nuts
    1 (16 oz.) jar Aunt Nellie's sweet and sour beets
Preparation
    Beat oleo and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    Blend beets in blender until smooth.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with beets to oleo mixture, mixing well after each addition.
    Pour into 9 to 10-inch Bundt pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
