Danish Cherry Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks oleo
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Cream oleo and sugar.
Add eggs and flavoring.
Add dry ingredients.
Save 1/3 of batter.
Spread on a greased baking sheet.
Dough will be thick.
Cover with a large pan of cherry pie filling.
Add remaining dough by spoonfuls and spread lightly over cherry filling.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Drizzle with icing made of powdered sugar and milk.
