Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. raisins
3/4 c. lard
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. raisin water
2 c. oatmeal

Preparation

Cover raisins with water and bring to a boil. Cream lard and sugar. Add eggs. Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add raisins, water and oatmeal. Nutmeats may be added. Drop by teaspoon on well-greased cookie sheet.
