7-Up Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. butter or oleo
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. sugar
2 tsp. lemon extract
3/4 c. 7-Up
3 c. flour
Preparation

Cream the sugar and shortening together; beat until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time; beat after each one.
Add flour. Beat in lemon extract and 7-Up.
Pour batter into well-greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Top with crushed pineapple, if desired.
