1 c. chicken broth
1 large clove garlic, crushed
1 large onion, grated
3 Tbsp. mild chili sauce
1 Tbsp. vinegar
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. thyme
Preparation

Place lamb on a greased rack in a greased or foil-lined pan. Combine all Sauce ingredients in a saucepan and simmer 5 minutes. Roast lamb
in
a
350\u00b0 oven until done, allowing 25 minutes per pound, plus
25
minutes
extra.
Baste lamb often while baking. Water may be added to pan to prevent scorching. Turn roast and use most
all
sauce.
Remove roast to platter, allowing to set at least 20 minutes before slicing.
