Nelle Summerford'S Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
    3 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 lb. well-chilled butter
Preparation
    Grate cheese and mix with combined dry ingredients.
    Cut in butter and blend well.
    Roll in small balls, place on cookie sheets, flatten with fork and top with a pecan half.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes 10 1/2 dozen.
