Butterfingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
Preparation
    Let butter soften at room temperature before blending with sugar.
    Add sifted flour slowly, mixing well.
    Add to dough which will be stiff.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Shape into the size of dates and bake for 5 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Bake 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    When light brown, they are done.
    Let cool, then dip in powdered sugar.
    Yields 25 cookies.
