Linda'S Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. drippings (optional)
    1 large onion
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 (12 oz.) can tomatoes
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 bay leaf
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
    1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Brown beef in drippings; drain.
    Add onions and garlic; cook until tender.
    Add tomatoes, paste, salt, pepper, basil, oregano and bay leaf.
    Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
    Remove bay leaf. Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender; drain.
    Arrange in a greased baking dish.
    Pour half of meat sauce over noodles. Cover with Mozzarella cheese.
    Repeat layers.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
