Ingredients

2 boxes 10x sugar
1 c. shortening (Crisco)
1/3 c. cold water (more or less, depending upon the weather)
1/2 tsp. flavoring (vanilla or almond extract, however vanilla causes icing to be a little dark)
Preparation

Cream shortening.
Add small amount of sifted sugar and gradually add water (do this alternately until all is used).
Add extract and beat.
Cover until ready to use.
