Squash Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. yellow squash, washed and cut
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. sugar
6 soda crackers, in crumbs
cracker crumbs (additional)
Preparation

Cook squash in boiling salted water to cover until just tender.
Drain and set aside.
Saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender.
Add to squash, eggs, milk, cheese, sugar and crackers.
Add onion and green pepper to squash mixture.
Spoon into greased casserole and cover with additional cracker crumbs. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
