Honey Baked Ham (Or Turkey) - cooking recipe

10 to 12 lb. ham
3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1/4 c. honey
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. apple juice
1 c. brown sugar
whole cloves
Preparation

Using sharp knife, remove layer of skin from ham, leaving a thin layer of fat to keep meat moist and juicy while baking.
Score surface of the ham in a diamond pattern without cutting into meat. Place a whole clove in the center of diamonds.
Baste ham with mustard and place in roasting pan.
Combine sugar, honey and cinnamon; heat over low to medium heat for 2 minutes until mixture is pourable, but not thin.
Spread over ham; pour juice in bottom of pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Baste every half hour using juice in pan.
