Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/4 c. water
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar, water and Karo syrup together in a 2 1/2-quart saucepan until it spins a thread from spoon. Add raw peanuts stirring constantly until mixture turns brown. Remove from heat. Add soda and stir well. Spread on buttered cookie sheet and let cool. Break out of pan and store.
