Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. warm water
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/4 c. shortening
    6 1/2 to 7 c. flour (self-rising)
Preparation
    In mixing bowl dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add sugar, salt and half of the flour.
    Beat well.
    Add egg and shortening.
    Add remaining flour.
    Knead until dough is satiny.
    Let rise about 1 hour or until double.
    Make into rolls and place on baking sheet. Let rise 1 hour.
    Bake at 400\u00b0.
