Patis - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 tsp. hot pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
    1/2 lb. cooked ground beef
    salt to taste
    oil (for frying)
Preparation
    Boil the potatoes until done.
    Mash the boiled potatoes.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Add cilantro.
    Mix well.
    Take a small amount of the mixture and flatten in the palm of your hand.
    Place 1/6 of the cooked ground beef in the center and cover with more of the potato mixture.
    Dip this in the beaten egg and then coat it with bread crumbs.
    Repeat process with the other three eggs.
    Deep fry in hot oil until browned.
    Drain.
    Serve with ketchup.
    Serves 6.
