Pumpkin Tea Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin
    2/3 c. water
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Blend shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, pumpkin and water. Combine dry ingredients and add to mixture.
    Mix well.
    Add raisins and walnuts.
    Put in 2 (9 x 5-inch) or 3 disposable greased loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
    Freezes very well.
    Can add any kind of nuts and chopped dates.
