Applesauce Fingers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 C shortening
1 C brown sugar
1/2 C granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 C flour
1/4 tsp salt
3 tsp baking powder
1 C applesauce
1 tsp vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening, gradually cream in sugar, beat in eggs, one at a time.
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
Add alternately with applesauce to creamed mixture.
Add vanilla. Pour into greased 10x15 in pan and bake at 375\u00b0F for 30 minutes. Cool, then spread with frosting.
