Coconut Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped black walnuts
    2 tsp. coconut extract
    1 c. oil
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    Beat well sugar, oil and eggs together.
    Mix dry ingredients together and add alternately with buttermilk.
    Beat well and add walnuts, coconut and extract.
    Bake in a well-greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 65 minutes.
    Pour syrup over cake while hot.
    Allow to remain in pan for 4 hours to absorb syrup.
