Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. applesauce
    4 tsp. soda
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    2 c. brown sugar
    4 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 lb. raisins, chopped
    1 c. butter
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/4 lb. each kind candied fruits, cherries, etc.
    1/2 lb. English walnuts, chopped
    1/2 lb. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Into 2 1/2 cups hot applesauce, stir the soda.
    Cool, then add pineapple and stir.
    Mix all remaining ingredients; stir into the applesauce mixture.
    Mix well.
    Bake in large tube pan, which has been well-greased and lined with brown paper (grease both sides of paper).
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes; turn oven back to 275\u00b0 for 1 hour and 50 minutes.
