Florence Darby Osgood'S Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. thick sour cream
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 c. cooked prunes
2 Tbsp. prune juice
1 tsp. each: cinnamon and cloves

Preparation

Cream butter, eggs and cream.
Add dry ingredients, prunes and juice.
Bake in two layers in 350\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes or until done.
Frost tops of layers with whipped cream.
