Hamburger Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    2 large onions, sliced
    2 cans (10 1/2 oz. each) condensed cream of chicken soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of black pepper
Preparation
    Saute ground beef and onions in a small amount of fat in cooking pan or a chafing dish until meat is well browned.
    Stir in condensed soup, sour cream, salt and pepper.
    Cook, covered, over direct heat of chafing dish until thoroughly heated.
