Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick oats
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 unbeaten eggs
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Pour water over oats.
    Let stand 20 minutes.
    Mix in brown sugar, white sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Add to oatmeal.
    Mix in flour, soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.
    Put in greased and floured cake pan, 13 x 9-inch.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
