Mandel Toast (Or Mandel Brot) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. corn oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1 c. pecans or almonds, chopped
    cinnamon
    sugar
Preparation
    Beat eggs; add sugar and oil.
    Then add vanilla.
    Sift together and into egg mixture, flour, baking powder and salt. Beat gradually, adding nuts.
    Grease cookie sheet.
    Divide dough into 3 \"loaves\" on sheet (or use 2 sheets).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Slice diagonally while hot.
    Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over top.
    Return to oven 5 to 8 minutes.
    Keeps well and stays crisp if packed in tins.
