Banana Bran Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. plain flour
    1 c. 100% bran cereal
    2/3 c. granulated sugar
    2 3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. margarine
    1 c. mashed bananas
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. pitted dates, chopped
    1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; cut in margarine until coarse like cornmeal.
    Add bananas, eggs, milk, dates and walnuts.
    Mix well.
    Pour batter into a greased 8 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes, or until done.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes.
    Eat plain or frost with caramel icing.
