Ingredients

1 lb. light brown sugar
1 1/2 c. oleo
5 large eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream oleo; add sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
Sift all dry ingredients together and add with milk (alternately).
Add nuts and pour in greased pan.
Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325\u00b0.
