Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa (dry)
1/2 c. milk
1 stick margarine
3 1/2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut (optional)
Preparation

Bring sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine to a full boil and then boil one minute.
Stir mixture continuously.
Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter, vanilla, oats and if desired the coconut.
Mix well.
Drop from a teaspoon onto waxed paper and let cool.
Makes 40.
