Whole Wheat Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. oil (corn or canola)
1 egg
1 c. mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
vegetable cooking spray
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients in a small bowl; stir well and set aside.
Combine sugar and oil in a medium mixing bowl; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer 2 minutes or until well blended. Add egg; beat until light and lemon-colored.
With mixer running at low speed, add flour mixture alternately with banana mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Blend well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour batter into 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan coated with cooking spray.
