Fry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 tsp. baking powder
    water for mixing (about 1/2 c.)
    oil for frying (about 2 c.)
Preparation
    Combine ingredients.
    Use enough water to make a soft dough (not sticky).
    Let stand for at least 1/2 hour.
    (The longer it stands, the better.)
    Cut into small pieces.
    Flatten into rounds or other shapes to your liking.
    Heat oil until hot.
    Place about 3 or 4 pieces of dough at a time in pan with oil and fry until done. It is done when golden brown all over.
    Makes 8 or 9 rolls.
