Beef Burgundy(Dutch Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. round steak
    6 Tbsp. flour
    5 tsp. finely snipped parsley
    1 coarsely chopped onion
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 small garlic buds, crushed
    dash of pepper
    1 c. red wine
    6 oz. can whole mushrooms, drained
    1 c. water
    4 bay leaves
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut steak into cubes. Shake with flour and coat evenly.
    Melt butter in a skillet.
    Brown the meat and remove from heat.
    Add onion, parsley, garlic, bay leaves, salt and pepper. Stir in mushrooms, red wine and water.
    Heat.
    Lower heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours until the meat is tender. Remove bay leaves. Serve over hot rice or noodles.
    Serves 6.
