Ingredients

3 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. sweetened coconut
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0. Cream butter and both sugars together until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and unbeaten eggs (one at a time) and mix together well. Add flour, salt and baking soda and mix together. Add chopped nuts and coconut; mix about 30 to 40 seconds. Add chocolate chips, not mixing any longer than 30 seconds. Drop cookies 2-inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 minutes. Makes approximately 4 dozen.
