Mystery Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 small can fruit cocktail, drained and juice reserved
    1/2 c. reserved juice
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, baking soda and salt together.
    Blend together fruit cocktail, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 egg, 1/2 cup juice and nuts.
    Stir two mixtures together and pour into medium pan. Sprinkle 1/4 cup brown sugar over the top.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
