Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium sweet potatoes
    1/2 to 1 stick butter
    1 1/2 to 2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 to 3 c. milk
    dash of nutmeg
    9-inch baked pie crust
Preparation
    Boil sweet potatoes in skins for 30 to 45 minutes until tender.
    Skin potatoes; mash with butter using a potato masher. Add along while mashing, sugar to taste.
    Add salt, vanilla and eggs; mix well.
    Add milk, a little along.
    Pour into pie crust. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Let cool.
    Makes 2 pies.
