Foolproof Caramel Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. hot milk
2 tsp. light corn syrup
1/4 c. Crisco
Preparation

Boil together the sugar, corn syrup and 1/3 cup milk until soft ball forms in cold water.
Blend Crisco with powdered sugar and hot milk; pour hot syrup over sugar mixture.
Beat until of spreading consistency.
