Texas Chorizo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. lean hamburger
2 lb. pork sausage
4 large pkg. chili powder (red, medium or hot)
3 to 5 Tbsp. Eagle Brand chili powder
2 Tbsp. oregano
1 Tbsp. plus 1 pinch pepper
1/4 Tbsp. cloves
1/2 c. red wine
1 handful salt
1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation

Mix all ingredients, but the wine, with hands in a large bowl. Add wine as needed and continue to mix until all wine is used. Let sit refrigerated for at least 3 days before cooking.
The longer it sits, the better it tastes.
You may add onions to taste while cooking.
