Country Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, finely shredded
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    4 egg yolks
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 c. sweet cream
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. salad oil
    lemon juice
Preparation
    Prepare vegetables; place in a serving bowl.
    Stir together egg yolks, dry mustard, sugar, flour and butter.
    Blend with vinegar and cream.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat, beat in oil.
    Thin with lemon juice if too thick; pour dressing over cabbage immediately.
    Serve warm.
