Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. jam
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1 c. peach preserves
    1/2 c. strawberry preserves
    1/3 c. apple butter
    2 Tbsp. sorghum
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix creamed butter, jam, sugar, peach preserves, strawberry preserves, apple butter and sorghum.
    Add allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg and soda to flour and sift into first mixture adding buttermilk, a little at a time.
    Mix well.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
