Easy Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 box pie crust mix
1/2 box yellow cake mix
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
4 or 5 apples
1 stick butter
Preparation

Mix pie crust as directed on box and place in pie pan, spreading out evenly.
Peel, core and slice apples into thin pieces.
Place 1/2 the apples in the pie shell and cover with 3 tablespoons of butter, thinly sliced, and spread out evenly over apples.
Mix cake mix, sugar and cinnamon in bowl and pour approximately 1/3 of mixture on top of apples and butter already in pie pan.
Place remaining apples on top, covered with remaining 2/3 of sugar/cake mixture.
Cut up remaining 5 tablespoons of butter and distribute evenly on top.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
