Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium green peppers
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. fat
    2 c. stewed tomatoes or 1 lb. can
    3/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
    salt and pepper
    1 c. shredded sharp process American cheese
Preparation
    Cut off tops of green peppers; remove seeds and membrane. Pre-cook green pepper cups in boiling, salted water about 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    (For crisp peppers, omit precooking.) Sprinkle inside with salt.
