Quickie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/4 oz. can coconut
    1 can any kind fruit (crushed pineapple or cut-up peaches)
    1 box yellow cake mix (dry)
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Place a layer of canned coconut in the bottom of ungreased pan about 9 x 13-inches.
    Over this, spread the canned fruit plus juice.
    Top this with the yellow cake mix (dry) just as it comes out of the box.
    Press down firmly.
    Over this, cut 2 sticks of butter, distributing it evenly and sprinkle with nuts.
    Bake for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until evenly browned.
