Chocolate Ice Cream Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. fudge brownie mix
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
    2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    2/3 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Prepare brownie mix according to package directions in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Let cool in pan.
    Spread ice cream over brownies; freeze until hardened.
    Combine sugar and next 3 ingredients in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat to medium and cook 8 minutes.
    Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and pecans.
    Cool.
    Spread frosting over ice cream.
    Freeze. Remove from freezer 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
    Cut into squares.
    Yields 12 to 15 servings.
