Ingredients

1 c. oleo, softened
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream oleo and powdered sugar; beat until fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
Gradually add dry ingredients.
Roll and cut on floured surface.
Bake for 6 to 8 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Dough may be refrigerated overnight for easier handling.
