Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped fresh cranberries
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, salt and sugar. Cut in shortening. Add milk and egg which has been beaten. Stir in cranberries.
    Mix together.
    Pour into greased bread pan. Let stand 20 minutes before baking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 to 70 minutes.
