Frosty Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cucumbers, sliced 1/8-inch thick
    4 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. sliced onion
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. dill seed
Preparation
    Place onion and cucumbers in bowl with salt and water.
    Let stand 2 hours.
    Drain but do not rinse.
    Return to bowl.
    Add sugar, vinegar and dill.
    Stir occasionally and let stand until sugar dissolves.
    Pack in freezer boxes, cover tightly and freeze.
