Boiled Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 gal. milk
6 to 8 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Heat milk in double boiler.
Mix egg yolks, salt, sugar and cornstarch.
Then add a little hot milk to yolk mixture.
Then add to milk and boil until thickened.
Remove from heat and flavor with peppermint stick candy to your taste.
