Beth'S Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak
    flour
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 c. water or as needed
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    salt and pepper
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Tenderize meat with meat mallet.
    Cut into thin 1-inch strips. Moisten meat with a small amount of water.
    Roll meat in flour and brown in oleo over medium heat.
    Add onion, Worcestershire sauce, soup, salt and pepper to taste and sour cream to meat.
    Simmer covered for 25 minutes.
    Gradually add water, if needed, to keep mixture at gravy consistency.
    Serve over rice or egg noodles.
